building a costume

i have to make a costume of my alter ego for uni project. first i was gonna b a blanket. but apparently thats not really a costume. then i was gonna be a tree but like idk i dont want to be that strange person in the park who collects leaves off the ground. so then i was thinking about how messy i am and also my love of noodles etc. so decided to make a costume out of the cotton on mop heads. i went to peckham market to  buy 8 mop heads. the guy looked so happy when i bought all his mops and i felt really happy but then not happy because i spent £8 and then on the way home a short middle aged man with a high pitched voice ran out of change in the pay phone at shoreditch high street. he started talking to me about the pay phone and how you have to pay and i said that is usually the case and then i asked him if he wanted to use my phone and he didnt want to decline but subtly hinted that he wanted money but maybe felt bad about asking so i gave him £2. he looked at the coin and seemed like alarmed.  so i said "its okay its my good deed for the day" and then he said "you are a good soul" and then he  started to ring someone important and spoke about "paperwork" and how he didnt want anything for dinner while i waited for a bus.

i bought 8 mops from peckham market

got 2 sets of dye from cowling and wilcox at around £6

i also dyed a hoodie, legins and tights.
i dyed a pair of white cotton shoes too but that went horribly wrong

t b continued
